Brothers Together in Oneness

We are living in a generation where individualism matters a lot. In today’s age people are more individualistic and self centered. We are living in a generation where we can better understand how critical the oneness of the brothers in Christ.

The Church is situated here in this time of the age. So what should be the attitude of the Church? In the book of John chapter 17 Jesus prayed so that the disciples to be one (vs. 21 That they all may be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us; that the world may believe that You have sent Me.) What a prayer! Where is our stand on this matter of oneness today?

In this section we will see what God commanded to happen when the brothers assemble together in oneness.

Jehovah commanded a blessing, did you read it? A blessing! Some times when we don’t get along with brother we isolate ourselves and think we can succeed in life and feel we are ok. Brothers, in this situation I guarantee you that you are missing the blessing. This is a blessing that you can’t get it anywhere but only in the local church on the ground of unity.

One of the enemy goals is to take the word of God away from us. Let me put it this way, the president of the land commanded something, you don’t think it will happen? Oh yes it will definitely happen. Here on the verse the God breathed word of God commanded a blessing in the assembly of the brothers on the ground of unity.

Here is what God commanded:

Psalm133:1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is / for brothers to dwell in unity!

Psalm133:2 It is like the fine oil upon the head / That  ran down upon the    beard, /Upon Aaron’s beard, / that ran down upon the hem of his garments;

Psalm133:3 Like the dew of Hermon / That came down upon the mountains of Zion. / For there Jehovah commanded the blessing: / Life forever.

Aaron is a person and Zion is a place. So from here what we learn is that the Church has two aspects, a person and a place. As a person the Church is the body of Christ, and as a place the Church is the habitation of God, where he dwells in. Aaron is the high priest in this context. While Christ is our high priest, however here being our head and we his body represented when the anointment pours down from the head to all the way down to the body.

Eph. 4:3-6 Being diligent to keep the oneness of the Spirit in the uniting bond of peace: one Body and one Spirit, even as also you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

1) one Body,

2) one Spirit,

3) one hope,

4) one Lord,

5) one faith,

6) one baptism,

7) one God and Father

In today Christianity we lost the vision of the BODY, the oneness with the all inclusive processed triune God. We think that to be one with the brothers is an option. We assume we have freedom of leaving the brothers. And we give excuses for our action of isolation. In reality we are divisive. We proclaim that we are one, sing the song of oneness, some times even we pray about oneness. But God showed us clearly the genuine ground of ones, is to be one with him. The above verse in the book of Ephesians shows us what oneness mean. If we deviate from that, from the truth, brothers we are declaring division. In division there is NO ANNOINTING! In the result in the place of the anointing we will have emotion!

Do you think God is after individual? What is the ultimate goal of God? Our God is after the BODY, his goal is the mingled corporate person which ultimately is the Body of Christ!

Brothers based on this reality we have to stand on the ground of unity, we will be blessed. And march the march of the blessed ones.

Psa. 128:5 Jehovah bless you from Zion; and may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days    of your life.

Psa. 131:1-2 O Jehovah, my heart is not proud, nor are my eyes haughty; nor do I go about in  things too great or too wondrous for me. Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child is my soul within me.

Psalm 128 speaks about the blessings of Jehovah …

Psalm 131 speaks about his forgiveness which leads us to humbleness …

Psalm 132 speaks Zion being the habitation of Jehovah …

Let us Go …

Let us go to the house of Jehovah

In Hebrew Psalm means “mizmor.” The people of Israel sang songs while they were in captivity. They remember him (Jehovah), they remember Jerusalem. They remember Zion, They remember the brothers. When we are away from the ground where we belong, once we test the peace and love, we long for it. We sung about it. That was what happened for the Israelites, when they were away from mount Zion. They like to be there.

They were singing for the love of the house of God. Psa. 122:1 says “I rejoiced when they said to me, / Let us go to the house of Jehovah.” They are real! They mean it! Can we say to a brother “… let us go to the house of Jehovah,” so that he can rejoice? Do we rejoice when a brother ask us to go to the house of Jehovah? Oh Jehovah, thank you! “Psa.122:8-9 For my brothers’ and companions’ sake I will now say, / Peace be within you. For the sake of the house of Jehovah our God / I will seek your good.”

Psa. 127:1-2 Unless Jehovah builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless Jehovah keeps the city, the guard watches in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, and to eat the bread of toil; all the same, He gives to His beloved while they sleep.

Unless Jehovah builds the house, those who build it labor in vain? Wow! Brothers we need Jehovah! For everything! No matter what we do unless he does for us, we labor in vain. Oh Lord! I trust in you! Peter labored all night to catch fish, but when the Lord spoke a word, things changed! Then we say, My Lord!

The Overcomers, Who are they?

Rev. 19:7 Let us rejoice and exult, and let us give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.
1 Tim. 2:8I desire therefore that men pray in every place, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and reasoning.

How do we live, walk the Christian life? We are told to do everything in the Spirit. A born again Christian is a spirit who posses a soul and lives in a body. The realm we operate is spiritual, not psychological, and not even physical. The life we live and the battle we fight are spiritual. If we are in Christ, we are in the Spirit. The reality of the Body of Christ is the result of such a living. It is no abnormal; it is a Normal Christian Life.

Such group of people will bring Christ back. They are the overcomers. Christ will come back not only as a savor but also a bridegroom to marry his bride, the totality of the overcomers.

Rev. 20:4-5 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of the testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and of those who had not worshipped the beast nor his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand; and they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. 5. The rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were completed. This is the first resurrection.

Christians are regenerated, reproduced, who posses the Devine life, a God-men. “All of them have been nourished, sanctified, transformed, and perfected not just to be matured Christians, but to be God-men.” (Holy Word of morning revival Psalm 2).

The Overcomers

Rev. 14:1 And I saw, and behold, the Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him a hundred and forty-four thousand, having His name and the name of His Father written on their foreheads.
Rev. 12:11 And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they loved not their soul-life even unto death.

The Overcomers!

The term overcomer is a verb it is not a noun. To be called overcomer, you need to overcome something, it requires action. This action will give you the title overcomer. God is after these overcomers. In every local church, we should have overcomers, those who  stands for no one, for nothing, but for the body of Christ. Overcomers  don’t have their own desire; their desire is the desire of God. They fight the good fight of faith. According to the book of Revelation the churches failed to be in this line, but God is waiting his overcomers within  the church. Satan put chaos in the midst of God’s plan, but God has his overcomers, who pay the price and suffer the chaos and stand for the body of Christ, which is his bride.

Today, God is waiting for his bride. Until she is ready he will not come back. In order for the bride to be ready, the body of Christ needs to be built up first. In this age (the church age) God is building his body. If you are God loving one, and God seeking one, you are part of this process. The over comers are body conscious, they are Zion in the church. They are the matured and ripen believers.

Now we are in the church age, the kingdom age is coming. By God’s discipline dealing those of us who are not ripen and matured, God will perfect us and get us ready to join ripen and ready one in the church age. None of us will participate in the New Jerusalem without first perfected! Amen! Today those who are perfected one, matured one,  God-men are the overcomers.

To be an overcomer we have to overcome and conquer the chaos created by Satan. We have the Grace of our lord in our spirit which is sufficient for us.  God I do ask you to cause me to deny myself, abandoning my future, to join the army of Faith, the overcomers, those who “they loved not their soul-life even unto death.”

The Preciousness of Zion and Jerusalem and the Situation of the Overcomers in Zion

Psa. 2:6  But I have installed My King upon Zion, My holy mountain.
Psa. 125:1-2Those who trust in Jehovah are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved but abides forever. Jerusalem—mountains surround her; and Jehovah surrounds His people from now and to eternity.

This week we come to the amazing revelation of what the desire of God is, and what he is looking after in the book of Psalm. In old testament book we have several types mentioned. Among these types, we see God’s holy city Jerusalem. Inside Jerusalem we find the elevated Zion, on which the Temple of God was built (Psa. 2:6; 125:1). It is place where Abraham offered his son Isaac, a city chosen by David.

It is amazing a God who make all the heavens and the earth to happen desires. Have you ever thought that?
Zion and Jerusalem are the earthly signs that shows us the existence of the invisible and misterious God. Zion is not only the center but also elevated peak. That is where we have the church, the body of Christ, yes the economy of God! Praise the Lord about Zion! Hallelujah for Zion!
Speaking about Jerusalem, she typfies the churh, and Zion typfies the overcomers!

The people of Israel love the law of God! But the couldn’t fullfil it. Instead the law exposed who the are, showed their real codition.

In the middle of the defeated church God is looking the one- hundred and forty four thosands, who will stand on mount Zion (Rev. 14) Our Brother Watchman Nee stated that, “God always uses a small number of believers to pass on the flow of life to the church and to revive the church.”
